Last year my first season in Goa was about to come to its end. I found myself roaming out of my comfort zone of the Mandrem Beach area where I was no longer teaching Yin Teacher training's and found I had more time on my hands before I was to fly back to the UK. This was the moment I stumbled across a magical place during one of my long bicycle rides...
A place called Alchemy Goa.

The building itself was beautiful and at a moments notice I found myself inside exploring and admiring the garments of both the FARA and Studio TIA brands.

I came to very quickly adore everything about this brand, not only everything about their beautiful designs and prints but also their philosophy and more specifically their passion and drive to create what they created through the FARA brand and their vision.

I came back to Goa and still found I couldn't get enough of their clothes and I began purchasing more and more of their offerings. I think most of my earnings were spent in the Alchemy store this season than in any other store.
This season I was also very happy to meet one of the Founders of FARA, Rachel who impressed me the more and more I got to know the history of FARA and her experience in the field of fashion and living as a western woman in an eastern Indian village.
I wore FARA clothing throughout my time in Goa and took many items with me for my friends destination wedding in Thailand.
The dresses and the clothing carry themselves beautifully and gracefully in any environment whether on the local Indian village bus, being a companion of travelling on the back of a Royal enfield to the five star luxury wedding venue on Koh Samui island.
The garments drape your body effortlessly and ooze elegance and femininity no matter the environment or situation.
In addition by purchasing, wearing and promoting the clothes we are helping to contribute to a more sustainable fashion industry where it shifts towards buying quality instead of fast fashion where quantity is the main goal.
